  If you go to their website and sign up for the free consultation and nail trimming, you won't get a call. So, if you go in or call like I did. They'll try and charge you for it. I ended up not having to pay, but it's uncomfortable to be questioned where I saw it when it's clearly on their own website. (And about 5 reviews below, it has a post from the owner saying that first visits are free!!!) Then I was told that the deworming would be free, so I agreed to it. But, when I was leaving (another receptionist/tech) told me it was not so I had to pay for it. I already had to argue for the free consultation, so I just gave up on that but she wasn't even going to ask the other tech anyways. I would have had to push harder it. My tiny cat has never been so traumatized by getting shots and I've had her for 10 years. The first was okay, but the second one either backwashed out, or pierced through two parts of her skin so the liquid went through to her fur. She cried like I'd never heard for two solid minutes. I have a very gentle and easy going cat, so it wasn't like she was fighting him at all. Maybe they're better with dogs or it was a very very off day. For my first visit, this isn't how you keep a client. Sigh.

  Garbage place. Staff is good, but prices are insanely over priced. They want $200 to pull a tooth and $400 for cleaning + hidden fees that they don't tell you about which resulted in the price being close to 1K for a tooth removal. Surrey animal hospital did it all for less than $400! They also charged me $200 for blood work, Surrey animal hospital is over 50% cheaper! DO NOT GO HERE
